CHECK ME OUT!

Check out the new, hot smile on the left, compared with what I did look like on the right. It took just over an hour today at Asheville Dental Care to make a dramatic change to my appearance. Dr. Powell applied porcelain veneers to my front four top teeth. Now, I thought he was joking when he told me this last week, but Dr. Powell was right - I had to stop staring at myself in the rear view mirror on the way home so I wouldn't get in an accident. It really is amazing how four teeth make an incredible difference in how I look, and how I feel about the way I look. And, let's face it, like it or not, much of our lives in the world today are based on first impressions. I look forward to the ones I'll be making from now on. In full disclosure, before we took the final pictures, Dr. Powell had to do a little mustache surgery. (Thanks Brea, for suctioning out all the lose hairs). I couldn't show off my new grill with a few unruly hairs curling over my lips. Now THAT's a full service dentist, my friends! I'm still stunned at the difference in my look - and can't wait to flash these babies all over town tomorrow.
